About-Boats was founded in Muskegon, MI in 2005 as a brokerage and consulting company founded on the principle of providing superior customer service and representing better products to boaters. In early 2009, David Lundberg, the founder of About-Boats, LLC, developed a relationship with Joe Moretti of Moretti Yachts a multi-faceted brokerage company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While forming this relationship, David learned of some other offerings that Moretti Yachts was involved with. Plans were made, and finally in late April of 2009, David moved About-Boats, LLC to Fort Lauderdale and set up shop with Moretti Yachts at the Lauderdale Marine Center on the New River in Fort Lauderdale, FL. About-Boats, LLC is now proud to represent four companies with “Greener Solutions for the Marine Industry”. Environmental Blasting Solutions provides blasting services using the two greenest services available, The Farrow System®, and Dry Ice blasting. Ocean Powder Coating provides portable VOC free powder coatings which are extremely well suited to the harsh marine environment. Clean Marine provides not only green cleaners, solvents, and sealers but also green A/C cleaning services that will leave any air conditioned space smelling fresh with healthy air circulating. DryBoat® is another company founded by David Lundberg and provides low waste, low destruction solutions to moisture intrusion in vessel coring. Licenses are also available for the lower half of the U.S. through About-Boats, LLC.
